I’m an ex-librarian living in Chattanooga, TN with my wife, three kids, two sons & one daughter.

When I’m not writing children’s books, I interpret software developer speak as a Lead UX writer at OutSystems. I’m a member of the Jedi Counsel, facilities manager at the Sanctum Sanctorum, and have a propensity to daydream whenever I attempt to be an adult.

YA

1. Working on another YA, a quirky magical realism family drama about a boy from a VERY storied family who inherits a dying magical house. Think Arrested development + Schitt’s Creek + Encanto.

Middle grade

1. Planning on trying to write another middle grade novel this year, this one set in the same town/world as the second YA project I mentioned above. It’s about a magical creature hunter who tracks the rare and deadly voidfinch into a small town in the North Georgia mountains and, in desperate need of help, of the town’s authority on local birds, twelve year-old Cash Montgomery.
